Talroch maison

Welcome to our peaceful and relaxing gites where you can wake to birdsong instead of traffic, situated in the small hamlet of Talroch bordered by the river Sarre and surrounded by woodland, the slow pace of life brings you closer to the environment around you. You can stroll up a lane to the local village observing the scenery to collect your baguette and croissants, still warm, straight from the boulangerie oven. You can sit by the meandering river watching kingfishers, herons and ducks whilst trout leap and beautiful damselflies and dragonflies flit all around and if that sounds too stressfull you may prefer to sit in the garden or on the large patio with a good book and a glass of wine.

Originally built by local stone masons for an important landlord in 1622, Talroch maison boasts a
" Moque Villaine "  which is a carving of a figurehead on the corner of the house overlooking the hamlet and depicts the house of an important landlord at the time. It is the oldest house in the Hamlet and even predates the local chapel 500 metres away in the forest. The house was converted in 2004 - 2007 to provide accommodation for families or individuals who have an affinity with nature.
